Welcome
Welcome to my working ecosystem. Here is the Student-Researcher framework I use to organize our project. They are not only tools but a structured system to ensure efficiency and accountability throughout research process.
1. Knowledge
This is where ideas are shaped and refined.
Obsidian – Organise research notes, literatures, idea development and reflections.
ChatGPT / Gemini – Brainstorming, breaking down complex task, debug codes, code snippets.
Medium.com – Learning technical concepts, Coding/ML workflows, learn from other experiences.
Zotero/Mendeley – Reference manager.
2. Coding & Data Analysis
For all the technical works.
Microsoft Excel / Google sheets – Data entry.
PyCharm – Writing and testing code.
GitHub – Version control, project repository, collaboration and documentation.
3. Data Infrastructure
Where research assets are organized.
Google Drive – Datasets, figures, manuscripts, shared folders.
4. Communication
Clear channels to avoid miscommunication. Always choose the correct channel for professional communication.
WhatsApp – Quick coordination, short updates, urgent matters.
Gmail – Official announcements, documentation.
Google Chat – Detailed project discussion.
Google Meet – Meetings and consultations.
5. Project Management & Timeline
Time is an important factor in our project.
Google Calendar – Setting up milestones, weekly targets, submission deadlines.
