Combining image analysis and environmental data to assess fabric exposure in forensic investigations

Overview

This study integrates image analysis and environmental data to evaluate fabric exposure under controlled temperature and relative humidity conditions. High-resolution images of selected fabric types will be digitized, and surface features will be quantified using computer vision techniques. These image-derived metrics will be modelled alongside environmental variables to develop a computational framework capable of estimating exposure duration for forensic applications.
